We worked with Ball Healthcare to plan a retirement celebration for their CEO. With the guest of honor retiring to the lake, we designed a classic fete at the Alabama Cruise Terminal in Mobile, AL.
In an effort to bring the outdoors in, and keep the overall look masculine but still elegant, we used a natural color scheme of ivory, gold, olive, copper, and chocolate. Supposey, our florist for the event, impressed all with her lush designs and wide assortment of vessels.
Guests signed well wishes on a wooden oar for the honoree to hang in his lake home. The oar was displayed on a welcome table with green and ivory tone floral.
For the guest tables we used a mix of wooden farm and champagne linen covered tables. Each place setting included a custom designed program by Papered Wonders, and a napkin rolled and tied with twine. Each table was styled differently with floral, unique containers, and wooden accents. Drape softened the walls, and blue up lighting gave us the feel of being on the water.
This design was a great way to honor a special occasion with a formal event, while still keeping it masculine and natural to fit the honoree.
