Featured in the December 2017 issue of B Inspired Magazine, Charity and Eric’s wedding was the classic example that small doesn’t have to mean simple. Their intimate wedding was full of glamorous and luxe details.
One of my favorite invitation suites ever – bold black and gold printed invites were tied with leather and held inside a velvet pocket. The modern “CE” monogram was used throughout the wedding design.
Getting ready for the wedding was a breeze with everything taking place at the W Atlanta Midtown hotel. And it was the perfect venue for the modern couple.
After a romantic first look, the couple took portraits before the ceremony. Charity was absolutely stunning in her trumpet style gown made of lace and organza.
The black, white, and gold color scheme was timeless and oh so chic. Plenty of candlelight along with low lush floral created a romantic glow for the ceremony. We used gold shelves to create a backdrop and hold flowers and candles.
Escort card displays that showcase my clients’ personalities is always a favorite detail to create. Our groom loves playing cards in Vegas, so we had custom oversized playing cards with the couples’ custom monogram and pattern on one side, and the guest’s name and table number on the opposite side.
Charity wanted her intimate reception to feel like a dinner party at their home. I designed two dramatic estate tables for our 60 guests with custom tables covered in black croc fabric, tall candelabras with black tapers, and lush white floral. We added more texture with the place settings using gold chargers, black linen napkins, and custom die cut gold foil black menu cards. The sweetheart table was created using a round mirrored dining table and oversized residential chairs.
Adding even more residential style furniture in our lounges helped to add to the warm and home like environment that we wanted to create.
Our bride loves dessert so instead of one traditional wedding cake, we had a dessert display with several cakes for guests to select from a variety of yummy treats. We also included custom favor boxes for guests to take desserts home.
Everyone loves a fun photo booth! And incorporating a scrapbook allows guests to leave special messages for the bride and groom along with their photo booth photo – a great keepsake!
Definitely a room with the view – high above the Atlanta midtown skyline. It was such a wonderful celebration for Charity and Eric to start their married life and a wonderful experience for their guests.
