Our Atlanta couple, Cherise and Jacob, returned to their hometown of Mobile, Alabama for an unforgettable wedding celebration. Custom acrylic invitations set the tone for what would be an elegant and modern wedding in Mobile.
Cherise and Jacob got ready at The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel & Spa with their bridal party in coordinated outfits.
To ensure each bridesmaid loved their gown, the bride allowed each one to choose a coordinating style in complimenting color and fabric.
The bride wore a gown from Winnie Couture, which we had customized with an extra long train to add drama.
The gorgeous bride and her beautiful bridesmaids in shades of pink.
The groom wore a custom tux with his name embroidered in the white dinner jacket. The groomsmen were dressed in traditional black with a hint of pink.
As a wedding planner I have the honor of working with and getting to know some wonderful families. The bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ball welcomed me with such warmth and I love these photos of them on the wedding day.
At the church, the hostesses greeted guests with custom die cut programs as they entered the sanctuary.
Inside, the ceremony aisle was set with a custom runner featuring the couple’s monogram. We used ivory satin drape as a backdrop of the altar with lush floral flanking either side.
After a beautiful at the church, guests were invited to attend the reception at Mobile Convention Center.
We had the pleasure of completely transforming the Mobile Convention Center for Cherise and Jacob’s reception. Ivory drape covered the walls and lighting created a romantic ambiance. We used a mix of estate and round tables with chameleon and gold chairs. Various high dramatic centerpieces were mixed with crystal candelabras, and lush low floral. Fuchsia chargers created bold place settings with gold foil die cut menu cards. Acrylic and glitter table numbers floated on each table. The couple sat at an acrylic sweetheart table with a rhinestone tufted chaise.
At cocktail hour, guests received their favor and escort card on glitter dipped champagne splits.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilson were introduced into the reception through a flower covered chandelier arch and made their way to the white round dance floor with custom monogram for their first dance.
The entertainment was just as impressive as the décor. As a surprise to the guests, R&B diva Chrisette Michele sang a special song during the couple’s first dance.
There were no dry eyes in the house during the father/daughter and mother/son dances when a special slideshow featured images of the bride and groom growing up.
To open the dance floor, the bride and groom led in their high school band, to the surprise and delight of their guests. After the crowd was worked into a frenzy by the drumline, the guests joined the couple on the dance floor.
After the dance floor opened, we revealed the “His” lounge in blue and “Her” lounge in pink. Guests enjoyed hot doughnuts, ice cream sundaes, and milkshakes on the terrace.
The bride and groom exited through a flurry of fireworks as a dramatic last farewell to a fabulous wedding day!
