Getting Ready on the Wedding Day

A bride getting ready with her bridesmaids on the wedding day is a special rite of passage. It’s the last time she will hang out with her girls as a single woman! Keeping it festive and fun is a must. Champagne, photos, hair and makeup, make getting ready a fun start to a memorable day.

If you are having photos taken during your getting ready time, take into consideration what everyone will be wearing. Custom t-shirts make for great photos and a fun keepsake after the wedding.

Glamorous Bridesmaid Attire

There’s no reason why bridesmaids all have to wear the same dress for a wedding. They will truly appreciate being able to select a gown that fits their body type. We worked with Fabulous Frocks Bridal in Atlanta to style each of these women in coordinating Jenny Yoo gowns. Each dress was carefully curated to coordinate in blush tones and fabrics.

The Jules dress in Sequin Tulle is a narrow A-line slip dress with a V-neckline and spaghetti straps. A narrow fit throughout the hip creates a sleek look that is met at the natural waistline with the slightly bloused bodice for an overall flattering silhouette. The Sequin Tulle gives the Jules a playful and glamorous look.

The Harper dress in Vienna Lace features a sheer illusion classic bateau neckline with a sweetheart bodice. All over patterned sequin lace creates a modern and glamorous look.  Paired with The Arabella Skirt in Soft Tulle is a floor length circle skirt. This fun skirt is extremely versatile and can be worn with any of the Jenny Yoo separate top and sweater options for a personalized look.

The Perla Cardigan has a classic modern look featuring cascading hand sewn pearl beads. 3/4 length sleeves with ribbed cuffs create a soft and easy feel. The bodice of the cardigan hits at the high hip for an Audrey Hepburn look.

The Annabelle dress features a shirred strapless bodice with a sweetheart neckline for a universally flattering look. The floor length A-line skirt features convertible panels that can be raised and manipulated to create alternate necklines and skirt details.

Accessorizing

We worked with Elizabeth Bower to showcase their collection of beautiful modern and vintage jewelry pieces.

Hand-sewn pearls, crystals and floral accents are hallmarks of Elizabeth’s designs. Inspired by nature and the idea of fairies at the bottom of the garden, they are pieces you’ll want to wear long after your wedding day.

These blush hued earrings contribute a dash of elegance to the entire ensemble. Each pair of earrings were delicately designed and compliment each gown in a distinct way.

The gorgeous blush bracelets worn by the bridal party adds texture and charm to the overall look.

Incorporating hair pieces is a great way to highlight facial features with a touch of glam!

Floral Design

When thinking about the total wedding day look – don’t forget about the flower bouquets! Colors, textures, and varieties of flowers perfectly accent the bridal party’s dresses.

As important as all of these elements are to your wedding day look – the dresses, flowers, jewelry, hair and makeup – nothing beats the beauty of pure happiness! So remember to have fun and enjoy this special day with your friends!
