Thanks Inside Weddings for featuring this wedding!

Susan and Elliott were my first Tinder couple! They met through the dating app and were perfectly matched. Susan is a thoughtful ER physician who is organized and stays on top of everything (a girl after my own heart!) And Elliott is fun loving with a big personality and never meets a stranger. It was clear from the start that he wanted Susan to have the wedding of her dreams and it was so special to work with both of them to plan this special day.

Getting Ready

Susan had amazing bridesmaids that made her getting ready time special and fun! The balloons and champagne definitely set the tone for a memorable day. Susan gifted her bridal party with getting ready kits that included robes and made for beautiful photos before everyone got dressed.

First Look

Some couples worry about how the first look might take away from creating a special moment when the bride walks down the aisle. But these pictures show why I love the first look so much. It gives the bride and groom a few minutes alone to spend before the craziness of the day begins. And how precious are these images?!

Ceremony

We created a dreamy wedding ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. The design was soft and romantic with blush drape, low lighting, white carpet, and a dramatic floral installation hanging above. There were no dry eyes in the house as Susan and Elliott recited their vows. And you can see from Elliott’s reaction when he saw Susan walk down the aisle – the first look definitely didn’t take away from the drama and romance of the moment!

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour starts the party as guests sip on the signature cocktail, sign the guest book, and get their seating assignments for dinner. Instead of a traditional guest book, the couple opted for a custom portrait that guests signed and hung in their home after the wedding.

Stationery

The wedding stationery suite combined the couples gorgeous engagement photos, a custom monogram and pattern, gold foil printing, and laser cut elements. The welcome gifts for the out of town hotel guests included Susan and Elliott’s favorite treats.

Reception

We used the same ceremony room and flipped it for the reception. We couldn’t let the beautiful floral chandelier go to waste! We rolled up the white carpet from the ceremony to reveal a white dance floor with the couples’ monogram. Then placed a luxe lounge with the cake in front of the ceremony wall. The reception design included a mix of estate and round tables in shades of blush, coral, and gold.

Favors

As a parting gift for guests, we displayed champagne splits with custom thank you tags and straws on what was once the escort card table.

Exit

Before the end of the reception Susan changed into a gorgeous custom gold evening gown and continued to dance with her guests before exiting the reception through a line of sparklers. It was such a joyous day for Susan and Elliott and I was honored to have the opportunity to plan and design a day they will never forget!
