When a fellow event industry peer that you work with often requests your assistance with a personal project, the answer is YES! What a dream for this Atlanta party planner! And that’s exactly what happened with Lizeth, owner of @moms_klosetballoons and her daughter’s quinceañera (a Mexican tradition for a 15th birthday celebration). Ally’s mom had a clear idea and had been pulling ideas for her Mexican Hacienda Vibe theme for two years. But she needed help putting the ideas into a cohesive action plan – which is what I love!
The color palette was vibrant and full of life, featuring rich hues of pink, orange, yellow, and purple. No corner was left untouched! The floral arrangements were a sight to behold with floral arches, centerpieces, and accents. The balloon arch was a fun entrance point and feature of the house with pastel balloons encapsulating the back door.
The dessert tables were to die for with picture perfect pastel cake pops, donuts, macarons, & more! The guests loved being able to enjoy these pastel treats that were picture perfect. There were colorful party favors for guests to enjoy and remember the party by. The jumbo light up letters spelling out Allison were surrounded by balloons and a beautiful feature to the indoor space!
Her dress was a stunning and bold black with a delicate pink floral appliqué— it was absolutely stunning as was the birthday girl! Every design was thoughtfully picked and planned to bring her vision to life. Ally’s quinceañera design included a custom monogram logo & colorful watercolor floral pattern, which we incorporated throughout the day.
We brought her floral print to life with a large live floral installation that provided a backdrop for her stunning cake. The floral pattern was also used on her dance floor and in many of her printed paper goods (as you can see on the dessert table). The floral theme really came through in each design piece which brought a colorful and feminine touch to the celebration!
The colorful confections perfectly integrated the color palette for the day- each design was unique, yet worked perfectly together to build a dessert display with visual variety. The candy cart was a big hit and a fun alternative to the typical candy station.
And of course, being that Ally’s mom is the best balloon stylist around, there were balloons everywhere! A colorful, organic garland at the entrance of the party, as well as a monochromatic marquee display and photo booth backdrop. This offered a fun element to accent all of the florals and give that birthday party feel.

He was a proud Daddy and did it all with a smile! This really was a team effort and so special for the whole family to be involved in! I’m so glad they allowed me to plan this special celebration for Ally— it all turned out so beautifully for her!
