When you think of a milestone birthday celebration that doubles as an extravagant Atlanta retirement party, Roosevelt’s three-day extravaganza sets a new gold standard! The festivities were a pinnacle of premium experience, luxe details, and memorable moments. It all began high above Atlanta’s skyline at the Four Seasons Hotel‘s 50th-floor Penthouse Ballroom.

From the moment 50 elegantly attired guests stepped into a private elevator, they were transported into a world drenched in shades of navy and radiant rose gold. Upon arriving at the penthouse, a lavish cocktail birthday party awaited them. The venue’s existing furniture, already in navy blue perfectly complemented our theme! This made focusing on the bar details easier, adding custom touches like golden drink stirrers, matching cocktail napkins, and an eye-catching bar sign.

As the evening segued into dinner, the setting transformed into a sophisticated dinner club, artfully arranged with seven 5-foot square tables, each hosting eight guests. We used the venue’s transparent ghost chairs, aiming for a modern yet romantic atmosphere.

As an event planner in Atlanta who is utterly focused on designing bespoke experiences, we succeeded in establishing a harmonious vibe. Navy napkins, alabaster chargers in hues of blue, and rose gold flatware adorned each table. Interactive menu cards, another unique feature, stirred conversations and excitement among guests.

Capturing everyone’s attention were the floral frames that served as centrepieces — lush arrangements of blush, nude, ivory, and taupe, offset by navy blue pillar candles in glass cylinders.

To set the ambience, specialized lighting bathed the venue in soft hues — a stage wash highlighting key areas, a wash on the band backdrop, and blue uplighting added an extra layer of allure to the entire setup.

Roosevelt’s radiant golden-rose monogram was set against a navy background decorated with Da Vinci’s perplexing circles. This monogram elegantly featured across the celebration, from custom artwork to LED backdrops, unifying all event elements.

The grandeur didn’t stop at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta. The black-tie event on Saturday at Ventanas was a spectacle, accented by a rose gold platform with a backdrop of navy drape adorned with ivory and blush pink floral. Guests found their seating assignments on a custom-fabricated wall inspired by an art gallery piece showcasing the monogram.

The guest tables were some of the most uniquely designed tables that I’ve ever done. The opposite from the Welcome Party, the room featured navy blue linen with a mix of blush and blue floral. It was masculine but still stylish and elegant. Everyone loved it!

The stage and dance floor were the heartbeat of the party, complete with an LED video wall backdrop. The projection alternated between Roosevelt’s monogram and exotic scenes from his favorite travel destinations.

But the celebration still had more to offer! An after-party space on the venue’s rooftop patio featured a fabulous bar, aerialist performers on lollipop stands, a 360-degree photo booth, and a hookah lounge.

To cap off the unforgettable weekend, a Sunday brunch on the 5th Floor Terrace of the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta offered a divine buffet. Just when guests thought it couldn’t get more iconic, a Gospel choir made a surprising entrance, delivering a moving performance that added a spiritual dimension to the weekend’s jubilations!

As a luxury event planner in Atlanta who had the privilege of designing this monumental birthday party, we couldn’t be more delighted. Every custom touch, every shade of navy and rose gold, and every element that went into making this weekend spectacular was a true labor of love for us.

Contributing to a celebration that set a new gold standard for milestone events was a true honor! Our satisfaction comes from knowing that we helped orchestrate not just a party but a lifetime of memories for Roosevelt and his guests. That, for us, is the greatest joy and the highest honor in what we do.
